Review

If you are an aspiring writer or have been writing for a while, more than likely you have had those moments where you are either procrastinating or just can't make the leap to keep going. As writers, it can be so difficult when you get stuck creatively but it always helps getting a fresh perspective to show you a different path. What I loved about Rut Busting For Writers is that here is a book that speaks to you as a real person rather than in theory or generalization. Nancy Christie, has not only been there and done that with you, but brings hers and shares experiences from other writers in a book that will motivate and give you insightful tips that will help you ignite that spark that may have dimmed out. No matter where you are in the writing process, a beginner or experienced, she gives you tips, offers suggestions and is such an impassioned cheerleader to let you know you are not alone on this journey and tries to get you back on track. She helps you identity your rut and offers various tools to help you get out of it.

Overall, I gained some wonderful tips and information that pushed me into a different perspective to help me get back on that bike. Beyond the information and advice in the book, there are resources after that you will find helpful and you can learn more about the authors that gave their wisdom as well. I think this will be a great addition to any writer to have as a motivation or a resource for those who may be struggling to get that extra push that they need to get back out there. You can find more information about Nancy through her website.
